Landlord Gas Safety Checks

I can provide a year on year service to ensure that any rented properties are checked and certificated. By law, all landlords must carry out an annual gas safety check and provide the tenant with a copy of the record check.

 

As a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer in Colchester, Great Horkesley, Nayland, Boxted, Langham, and other surrounding areas, I will check your gas appliances and flues annually to ensure everything is safe and in good working order. The checks required include boilers, but they also cover other gas appliances such as fireplaces and stoves. It is however worth remembering that If you’re a tenant, your landlord is NOT responsible for safety checks on any gas appliances owned by you, or any flues that connect to your own gas appliances.
