Oil Boiler Servicing
Making sure your oil-fired boiler and heating system is serviced regularly, will keep it at its most efficient and working safely. Annual servicing will reduce your fuel bill and will also help you to save money on an unexpected breakdown and heating engineer call out charges. Most equipment manufacturers recommend that oil boilers are serviced at least once a year.
Appliances that are not properly maintained can emit carbon monoxide, exposure to which can be fatal. During the service, I will undertake a visual inspection of the tank, oil line and other parts of the oil-fired system and look for any problems with perishable parts.
The autumn and winter seasons can be quite busy for boiler services, as people switch back on their heating systems. When arranging your annual boiler service, the summer months may be a better time, especially as we may need to turn off your boiler for an hour before the service, leaving you without heating for a short time.
